Federal Reserve of Boston & Co-chair of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA) Blockchain Working Group
Mr. Shevchik is the co-chair of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA) Blockchain Working Group and is at the conference in that capacity. AGA represents government financial management professionals at the federal, state and local levels. Members, who number more than 16,000, are local finance directors, state auditors, federal chief financial officers, academicians and private sector leaders.
Mr. Shevchik works for the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston where he is the Alliance Director for the U.S.Treasury’s Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) program. “We’re here to help both agencies and vendors think smarter about a part of their business where we have deep expertise.”
Mr. Shevchik has both federal and commercial experience having worked domestically and internationally in the areas of engineering, manufacturing, finance, marketing, business development and customer relations with organizations like the Federal Reserve, The Coca-Cola Company, Bristol-Myers Squibb and General Electric.
Mr. Shevchik holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Rutgers University and an MBA in Finance and International Business from New York University. He is also a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) and Project Management Professional (PMP).
